Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostics to create individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy, to guide client sessions.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions, couples therapy, and family therapy, ensuring a respectful and supportive environment that encourages open dialogue and growth.
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation and progress notes in compliance with ethical and legal standards, utilizing EMR software for efficient record-keeping.
• Engage in continuous professional development, attending workshops and training to enhance skills and stay updated on current mental health trends and research.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve working with individuals and families experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Valid and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of applicable legal and ethical standards within mental health practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related technological tools.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples treatment, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse counseling is highly preferred.
• Experience working with a diverse client population, including but not limited to marginalized communities.
• Ongoing professional development in specific therapeutic modalities that promote holistic healing.

Compensation and Benefits

• The salary range for this position is USD 70,000 – 90,000 annually, reflective of your experience and caseload availability.
