A Remote Music Record Label job involves working for a record label in a fully online or virtual capacity. Responsibilities can include A&R scouting, marketing, artist management, distribution, or social media promotion, all conducted remotely. This role allows professionals to collaborate with artists, producers, and industry executives without being tied to a physical office. It requires strong communication skills, self-motivation, and familiarity with digital tools for music promotion and distribution.
Working for a Remote Music Record Label typically involves tasks like scouting emerging artists, managing release schedules, coordinating digital distribution, and promoting music across various online platforms. You’ll also collaborate with artists, producers, and other music professionals via virtual meetings, and manage label operations with online project management tools. Additionally, you may handle contract negotiations, rights management, and analytics to track release performance. The remote setup allows for flexibility, but requires self-motivation, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
To thrive as a Remote Music Record Label professional, you need strong knowledge of the music industry, artist management, digital marketing, and contract negotiation, typically supported by experience in music business or related fields. Familiarity with digital distribution platforms (such as DistroKid or TuneCore), music rights management systems, and project management tools (like Slack or Asana) is essential. Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills help distinguish top performers in this collaborative, remote environment. These capabilities are vital for successfully discovering talent, managing projects remotely, and ensuring artists achieve exposure and growth.

About Fulfillment IQ (FIQ):
Fulfillment IQ is a supply chain engineering and transformation company that helps brands, retailers, and 3PLs design, build, and scale high-performance logistics operations.
We work at the intersection of strategy, operations, and technology where we solve complex, real-world problems across warehouse design, automation, order management, transportation, and end-to-end supply chain execution.
Our teams combine deep domain expertise with strong technical capability, delivering outcomes through consulting, systems implementation, and proprietary platforms that accelerate time-to-value and reduce delivery risk.
If you enjoy working in complex environments, partnering closely with clients, and seeing your work make a tangible impact on how global commerce moves, this is the place where your skills and judgment truly come to life.
Role Overview:
This role supports a client engagement with a leading MHE (Material Handling Equipment) provider. The primary focus is supporting WCS (Warehouse Control System) integration between WMS platforms and third-party robotics systems (e.g., goods-to-person, put walls, conveyor/sortation, ASRS), working alongside a Lead Consultant on the account.
You'll work with mid-sized clients (not large enterprise accounts) across the East Coast, partnering closely with local, onshore development teams and, in many cases, international robotics vendor teams based in Asia or Europe. This is a hybrid functional/technical seat where you'll build depth across both the WMS and the automation/integration side of the platform.
