• Conduct remote counseling sessions utilizing secure telehealth platforms, ensuring a positive and interactive client experience.
• Assess individual client needs through detailed evaluations and conversations, then design personalized treatment plans based on those assessments.
• Provide tailored individual and group therapy sessions addressing a wide array of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, relationship issues, and substance use disorders.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate client records in accordance with ethical guidelines and legal requirements for mental health practice.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of mental health professionals—including social workers and psychiatrists—to ensure holistic and comprehensive care for each client.
• Stay updated on the latest research, therapeutic practices, and technology advancements in the mental health field.
• Engage in supervision and team meetings regularly to discuss cases, share insights, and contribute to continued professional growth.
• Exhibit empathy, excellent active listening, and cultural competence during all interactions, ensuring relevance and sensitivity to clients’ diverse backgrounds.

Your clients will represent a broad spectrum of ages and backgrounds, from children experiencing anxiety to adults navigating complex life changes. You will play a key role in delivering client-centered care that fosters hope and resilience, making a meaningful impact on their lives.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Tennessee.
• A Master’s degree in counseling or a closely related field from an accredited program.
• Experience in telehealth is preferred but not mandatory; familiarity with digital counseling tools is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to form trusting relationships with clients quickly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with active listening capabilities to understand client needs effectively.
• Thorough knowledge of ethical and legal standards governing counseling practices to ensure adherence in all client interactions.
• A reliable, high-speed internet connection and a private workspace that ensures confidentiality during remote sessions.
• A commitment to following all pertinent state and federal telehealth regulations to maintain compliance.

• Experience providing therapy via telehealth platforms.
• Previous work in community health settings or experience with diverse populations is highly valued.
• Participation in continuing education or specialized training related to telehealth best practices is a plus.
