Griffin and Associates Psychotherapy, Consultation Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. Key Responsibilities- Maintain an active caseload of clients by establishing trust and rapport, while adhering to ethical guidelines and maintaining professional boundaries.
- Conduct regular sessions with clients to assess progress, address any concerns, and collaboratively plan for discharge when appropriate.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that focus on each client's unique needs and goals, monitoring their effectiveness and making necessary adjustments.
- Document all client interactions, including assessments and progress notes, utilizing established electronic health record systems to ensure compliance and continuity of care.
- Perform comprehensive intake assessments to understand new clients' needs and determine suitable therapeutic approaches.
- Participate in ongoing individual supervision to enhance clinical skills and ensure the quality of care at our facility.
- Engage in collaborative discussions with other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
- Adopt a growth mindset that encourages personal and professional development throughout your work.
You will primarily work with a diverse outpatient population including adults, children, and families. The ideal candidate will understand the complexities of mental health issues across different demographics and be ready to adapt therapeutic approaches accordingly to meet varying needs. Our focus is on providing the least restrictive care possible while ensuring clients receive the support they require.
Qualifications- A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field is required.
- Current and unrestricted Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) license.
- At least one year of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting.
- Proficiency in using multiple computer systems, including RMS systems, Excel spreadsheets, and email client software, to support documentation and scheduling needs.
- Strong experience in delivering psychotherapy services and conducting intake assessments.
- Experience providing therapy in a remote or telehealth setting.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems or software specific to mental health practices.
- Background in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
