Positively Living Counseling Services is seeking passionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapists (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) for full-time remote positions. This position is fully remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while still providing the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives. Our working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate the needs of our patients. You will be part of a collaborative team that values communication, support, and ongoing professional development.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate patient needs and formulate personalized treatment plans tailored to their goals.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, and families using methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy.
• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that empower clients by addressing common mental health concerns and fostering a sense of community.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to implement coordinated and effective treatment strategies.
• Offer crisis intervention services and act as a support resource during mental health emergencies, ensuring patient safety and providing guidance.
• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to foster understanding and engagement in their care.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, using electronic health records (EHR) systems effectively.
• Contribute actively to case consultations, team meetings, and professional development initiatives to continually enhance service delivery.
• Stay current with developments in the field of mental health by participating in training and workshops, helping to integrate innovative practices into your work.

You will serve a diverse patient population that includes individuals struggling with various mental health disorders, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related issues, and substance use disorders. Our clinic is dedicated to addressing the unique challenges faced by underserved communities in Lowell, Massachusetts, allowing you to engage with patients from varied backgrounds and experiences.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as one of the following: LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and therapeutic frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough mental health assessments and produce effective, individualized treatment plans.
• Experience providing both individual and group therapy to a wide-ranging patient demographic.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating trust and rapport with clients.
• Commitment to professional ethics and maintaining appropriate boundaries in a therapeutic setting.
• Proficiency in the use of electronic health record systems and other relevant technology.
• A collaborative spirit and the ability to work well as part of a multidisciplinary care team.

• Previous experience in a community health clinic or similar setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling practices is beneficial.
• Knowledge of local resources and organizations to support patient referrals and collaboration.
