Summary of Purpose
The Associate Dean of Enrollment Services provides leadership, coordination, and oversight of enrollment services operations across a multi-site college environment. This role ensures consistent, student-centered practices, policies, and procedures are implemented college-wide to promote equitable access and student success.
The Associate Dean directly supervises Classified staff across multiple campuses, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, professional growth, and exceptional customer service. This position partners closely with the Enrollment Manager to address student concerns, oversee enrollment-related processes, and ensure consistent application of policies. The role requires a strong commitment to serving a diverse, multicultural population and creating inclusive, responsive service environments that enhance the student experience.
Typical Duties
This description is intended to indicate the types of duties and responsibilities assigned to this position and is not intended to be an exhaustive list:
1. Represents the Dean of Enrollment Services in their absence on campus, across multiple sites, and within the regional community, as required.
2. Provides direct supervision and leadership to Classified staff across multiple campuses, ensuring consistent operations, service delivery, and adherence to college policies and procedures.
3. Establishes clear performance expectations; assigns duties; monitors workflow; conducts evaluations; and ensures accountability for staff performance, attendance, and service standards.
4. Leads recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, and professional development of enrollment services staff to enhance skills, career growth, and organizational effectiveness.
5. Promotes and models a culture of exceptional customer service, ensuring staff deliver responsive, student-centered support that enhances the overall student experience.
6. Oversees implementation and continuous improvement of standardized enrollment services processes and procedures across all college locations.
7. Collaborates with campus and college leadership to ensure alignment of enrollment services operations with institutional goals and student success initiatives.
8. Supports the Dean of Enrollment Management with implementation of enrollment related strategies including call campaigns and other communications
9. Utilizes data and feedback to assess service delivery, identify gaps, and implement strategies to improve efficiency, access, and student satisfaction.
10. Leads the implementation and effective use of technology systems that support enrollment services operations and student engagement.
11. Assists in the development, management, and monitoring of the enrollment services budget.
12. Serves on college-wide committees and cross-functional teams as assigned.
13. Ensures compliance with institutional policies, collective bargaining agreements, and applicable regulations.
14. Performs other related duties as assigned, including the ability to work evenings or additional hours as needed to support multi-site operations.
Knowledge and Skills Required
• Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the comprehensive community college mission

• Knowledge of enrollment management, student services operations, and multi-site service delivery models
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills, including experience managing teams across multiple locations

• Knowledge of student information systems and enrollment technologies
• Ability to analyze data and use insights to improve operations and student outcomes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage diverse audiences
• Experience with budget planning, resource allocation, and fiscal oversight
• Knowledge of collective bargaining agreements and contract administration
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve complex problems, and lead organizational change
Minimum Education and Experience
EDUCATION: Master's degree or Doctorate.
EXPERIENCE: Three (3) or more years of experience in supervisory role with increasing administrative responsibility at a community college or lower division of a four-year college or university, or a combined total of four (4) or more years of
fulltime work experience and administrative responsibility in Enrollment and/or Student Services.

Part-time Classified employees are offered the opportunity to have medical, dental, vision at the full monthly premium; life insurance is also available at a nominal cost. Participation requires that benefit costs be taken via payroll deduction.
