Tides Clinical Association is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team on a full-time basis. This remote position offers the chance to work alongside a diverse team while delivering essential mental health services to clients in an under-served community. This role is primarily remote, offering flexibility and the ability to reach clients in various settings. You will be integrated within a community health clinic framework, where collaboration with other professionals is key to ensuring comprehensive care. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will leverage virtual communication tools and electronic health record systems to maintain effective client management and documentation.

• Provide direct clinical services to clients experiencing symptoms of major mental illness and/or severe emotional disorders, using evidence-based practices.
• Conduct thorough assessments, develop tailored intervention plans, and ensure the implementation of these plans to improve client outcomes.
• Offer individual, group, and family therapy sessions aimed at addressing presenting problems while empowering clients through the therapeutic process.
• Engage actively with clients during crisis situations and provide necessary interventions to safeguard their mental health and safety.
• Collaborate with fellow clinicians and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care and address any cross-departmental concerns effectively.
• Maintain compliance with professional ethical guidelines and the Tides Clinical Association code of conduct.
• Complete required documentation, reports, and follow-ups in a timely manner to adhere to organizational standards and improve service delivery.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay updated with best practices in social work and mental health.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and provide input in clinical committees aimed at enhancing agency service delivery.

This role primarily involves working with a diverse client population, including individuals who may be low-income, uninsured, or facing significant barriers to mental health services. You will be expected to practice cultural competency and respect diverse backgrounds to foster an inclusive environment for all clients. Your contributions will directly impact the mental health and overall quality of life of clients, many of whom rely heavily on your expertise and support.

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid LCSW licensure in Texas is required.
• Minimum of two years of experience working as a clinician in a mental health setting, preferably within community health.
• Strong understanding of assessment, diagnosis, treatment strategies for mental health disorders, risk assessment, and crisis management.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and team members alike.
• Demonstrated ability to work with clients from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, showcasing empathy and respect for differing values.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred, enhancing communication with a broader clientele.
• Previous experience in a remote work environment, managing a virtual caseload effectively.
