We are seeking a driven Market Manager to lead sales efforts and manage hospice business development teams within an assigned market. Reporting directly to the AVP of Business Development, you will provide leadership, mentorship, and strategic direction to sales professionals while directly engaging with key accounts to drive growth. This role balances team management with hands-on sales activities to meet and exceed market sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise assigned sales staff, providing coaching, training, and support to optimize territory planning and selling strategies.

  • Direct day-to-day sales operations to ensure market sales and profit targets are achieved or exceeded.

  • Collaborate with sales leadership to develop and execute annual strategic sales plans and budgets tailored to the market.

  • Identify, develop, and grow new business opportunities and key partnerships within the assigned territory.

  • Analyze sales methods, costs, and results to evaluate effectiveness and implement improvements.

  • Represent the company at community and business meetings to promote services and expand market presence.

  • Maintain detailed territory management records and prioritize accounts according to sales plans.

  • Participate in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of sales professionals.

  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical business practices.

  • Utilize technology and data systems effectively to track and report sales performance.

Compensation may vary within the salary range provided based on several factors, including but not limited to a candidate's geographic location, experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, internal equity, and department equity. Gentiva provides associates with a comprehensive Total Rewards package, of which base pay is just one component.

Salary Range: 86k - $107k

About You

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 3 years of direct sales experience in healthcare services.

  • 1-2 years of healthcare sales management experience preferred.

  • Valid driver's license and automobile liability insurance.

  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting demands.

  • Excellent communication skills to engage remote field teams and mid-level staff.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with HomeCare-HomeBase is a plus.

  • Ability to exercise professional judgment and resolve problems effectively.
