Compliance Business Partner
Location: Remote (USA) | Travel: Up to 50%
Location: Charlottesville, VA | Travel:  Up to 30%

MAKE AN IMPACT IN THE MEDICAL DEVICE INDUSTRY:

  • We're partnering with an innovative medical device manufacturer seeking an experienced Compliance Business Partner to serve as the trusted advisor to executive leadership. You'll help ensure business goals are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of ethics, regulatory compliance, and patient safety
  • This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys partnering with leaders, solving complex business challenges, and building practical compliance solutions in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment

 
WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Serve as the primary compliance advisor to business leaders
  • Guide healthcare compliance related to HCP engagements, commercial activities, medical education, grants, sponsorships, and third-party relationships
  • Lead compliance risk assessments, investigations, monitoring, and corrective actions
  • Develop and deliver compliance training across the organization
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, R&D, HR, Finance, Legal, and Operations to proactively manage compliance risks
  • Help create practical solutions that enable the business while ensuring compliance with healthcare laws and regulations

 
WHAT YOU BRING:

  • At least 7+ years of healthcare compliance, regulatory, legal, audit, or risk management experience
  • Required: Medical device industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance regulations, including the Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, Sunshine/Open Payments, FDA regulations, AdvaMed Code, and related healthcare laws
  • Experience supporting HCP engagements, compliance investigations, audits, training, and risk management
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence leaders and provide practical, business-focused guidance

 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • JD, MBA, MPH, MHA, or other advanced degree
  • CHC, CCEP, or similar compliance certification
  • Experience with surgical devices, medical education, or global compliance programs
