• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patients' needs precisely, using standardized screening tools and clinical judgment.
• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic practices, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing.
• Facilitate engaging and supportive psychoeducational groups addressing topics like stress management, coping strategies, and relationship skills.
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other multidisciplinary team members, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention services to patients during acute mental health emergencies, employing timely and compassionate support.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Maintain electronic health records (EHR) with accuracy, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining the confidentiality of patient information.
• Engage in regular case consultations and contribute actively to team meetings aimed at improving practice and patient outcomes.
• Stay informed about the latest research developments in mental health treatment and integrate new findings into clinical practice.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, and adults, each facing unique challenges in mental health. • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• Possession of a current and valid professional license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Virginia.
• Thorough understanding of mental health disorders, treatment strategies, and applicable therapeutic modalities.
• Demonstrated capability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop outcome-oriented treatment plans.
• Hands-on experience delivering therapy to individuals and groups, with a keen ability to adapt to diverse populations.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, promoting effective communication and rapport-building with clients and team members alike.
• Commitment to maintaining ethical standards and professionalism in all interactions and documentation.
• Proficiency in using EHR systems for clinical documentation and scheduling.

• 1-3 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, providing services to varied demographics.
• Experience with teletherapy platforms and adapting therapeutic approaches for remote delivery would be advantageous.
