• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify mental health needs and strengths, utilizing evidence-based assessment tools.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address each client's unique challenges and objectives.
• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions for clients of diverse backgrounds, providing support for various mental health conditions.
• Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and compliant records of therapy sessions and client interactions in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational protocols.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at The Luke Mental Health Clinic, you will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a variety of challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. Our multidisciplinary approach allows you to employ various therapeutic modalities, catering to the specific needs and preferences of each client.

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is essential for this role.
• An active and valid New York State license (such as LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT) is required.
• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, demonstrating your ability to handle a range of complex cases.
• Specializations in family therapy, trauma-informed care, or addiction recovery are highly regarded and will enhance your application.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with team members.
