• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that are sensitive to the trauma histories of patients, ensuring personalized evaluation and diagnosis.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental health improvement.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through the process of understanding their trauma and developing effective coping strategies.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care and continuity of treatment.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention support for patients during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating calmness in high-stress situations.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and proactive coping mechanisms, enhancing their understanding and management of mental health.
• Maintain confidential and accurate patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards using our electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Actively participate in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to a culture of ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed care.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population comprised mainly of trauma survivors seeking help for PTSD, complex trauma situations, and dissociative disorders. By understanding the unique experiences of our patients, you will deliver care that resonates with their needs, promoting healing and recovery.

• Educational Background: A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Licensure: Candidates must hold a current and valid licensure as LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, demonstrating a strong foundation in trauma-informed treatment practices.
• Proven expertise in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions, with a thorough understanding of trauma-related disorders.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, characterized by a compassionate, non-judgmental approach.
• Competence in using electronic health record systems and relevant computer applications to manage patient records efficiently.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
