Motion Rehab & Wellness Center is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our compassionate team in Rancho Santa Fe, California. • Establish and cultivate trusting relationships with patients to facilitate open communication and promote therapeutic rapport.
• Conduct thorough assessments to accurately diagnose mental health disorders while considering individual circumstances.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect the unique needs and objectives of each patient.
• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, either individually or with couples and families, adjusting treatment approaches based on patient feedback and progress.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to guide patients through their mental health journey, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Family Systems Therapy.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress continuously, documenting findings and adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care, including referring clients to specialized services when required.
• Stay informed of current best practices and advancements in the mental health field to enhance the quality of care provided to patients.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Motion Rehab & Wellness Center, you will primarily work with a diverse population—ranging from individuals experiencing anxiety and depression to couples facing relationship challenges and families dealing with complex dynamics. Our focus is on providing culturally competent care that respects the backgrounds and experiences of our clients, ensuring each person feels valued and understood in their therapeutic journey.

• Active and valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist in California.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Strong understanding and application of therapeutic techniques tailored to various demographics and disorders.
• Comprehensive understanding of ethical standards and practices in mental health treatment.

• Experience or specialized training in addiction counseling and addressing co-occurring disorders.
• Familiarity with community health systems and the unique challenges faced by our patient demographics.
• Proven skills in utilizing technology for remote therapy sessions and maintaining patient records.
