What We Do
Responsible for managing foreclosure activities. Monitors and completes all activities, with an emphasis on activities leading up to and including the First Legal Action, in foreclosure actions in accordance with statutory compliance, regulatory compliance and company guidelines. Manages foreclosure timelines and workflow processes on files in which a foreclosure action has been initiated. Manages processes in accordance with established work rules, goals and objectives to improve timeline and attorney performance.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Responsible for servicing mortgage accounts to ensure the foreclosure is processed in compliance with all state and federal laws, while maintaining compliance with Investor, Insurer, Agency, and company guidelines.
  • Ensure the First Legal Actions are completed by the established deadlines by managing and removing impediments and requesting First Legal Action extensions as needed.
  • Conduct complete reviews of foreclosure files to ensure all default timeframes and regulatory and statutory compliance guidelines have been met.
  • Manage foreclosure proceedings on assigned cases by interacting and instructing various parties such as mortgagors, attorneys, investors, insurers, trustees, appraisers, and any other party involved with the foreclosure.
  • Monitor attorney performance by reviewing all proceedings, records and timeframes in addition to working all system/ database activities throughout the foreclosure process.
  • Diligently follow up on all outstanding requests and telephone calls from internal and external partners.
  • Audit accounts for expense compliance and ensure proper application to system of record
  • Perform required research on any loan with questionable items such as the application of payments and any other situation that may arise.
  • Review and respond to audit and quality control requests
  • Report all litigated, and class action matters to management.
  • Perform detailed analysis on all aspects of the assigned portfolio including performance, timelines, overall characteristics, and status to ensure compliance of the foreclosure action.
  • Manage exception reporting used as key controls for minimizing risk.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • High School Diploma or equivalent or combination of education and experience
  • 3 + years of directly related experience such as Mortgage Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, and/or Legal
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to strict guidelines and procedures
  • GSE and Government experience preferred
  • MSP and LoanSphere experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of computer software programs to include Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel, Internet and Microsoft Outlook experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of foreclosure
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary internal and external customer service
  • Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated; self-starter
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond quickly to emergent problems

Pay Range: $23.37 - $31.15 Hourly, Remote
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
