New Path Counseling Services is seeking licensed mental health therapists for full-time positions within our dedicated outpatient psychiatric practice. As a mental health counselor, you will play a crucial role in improving the lives of individuals grappling with mental health challenges, utilizing evidence-based therapies to deliver personalized care. This full-time remote position enables you to work from home while being actively involved in a collaborative virtual team that can flexibly respond to patients’ needs. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate the requirements of patient care. Our remote working model is structured to ensure that you have all necessary resources, including access to electronic health records and support systems, to maintain an effective therapeutic practice.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to precisely identify each patient's condition, needs, and goals, thus guiding the creation of personalized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.
• Facilitate psychoeducational groups and support sessions, helping patients to understand their conditions and build communal support systems.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and psychologists to assure cohesive and comprehensive mental health care.
• Deliver crisis intervention services, offering immediate support and solutions during a patient's mental health emergencies.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and how to access community resources available to them.
• Maintain compliance with legal and ethical standards by documenting patient interactions and treatment plans accurately and confidentially.
• Actively engage in team meetings, ongoing case consultations, and relevant training sessions to foster professional growth and cohesive team dynamics.
• Stay informed on the latest research, methodologies, and trends in mental health therapy to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Our practice largely serves a diverse range of patients experiencing mental health challenges including, but not limited to, adolescents facing anxiety and depression, adults suffering from mood disorders, and individuals in recovery from substance abuse. By creating tailored treatment plans, our mental health therapists can address the unique cultural, social, and economic backgrounds of our clients, ensuring inclusive and effective care.

• A completed Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Arizona is mandatory.
• Demonstrated knowledge of various mental health disorders, therapeutic modalities, and evidence-based treatment techniques.
• Proven capability in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and in developing effective treatment strategies tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience in providing both individual and group therapy, with a focus on diverse populations.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that allow for empathetic patient interactions and effective team collaboration.
• Strong ethical judgement and commitment to professional boundaries and conduct.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems (EHR) and other digital applications relevant to mental health service delivery.

• Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling services to enhance patient reach and remote service delivery.
• A background in leading community mental health initiatives or educational programs focusing on mental health awareness.
• Familiarity with cultural competence and sensitivity in treating a diverse patient population.

The salary range for this position is USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
