In this full-time remote position based in Gilbert, Arizona, you will play a crucial role in assessing the mental health needs of a diverse client base and formulating tailored therapeutic strategies to promote their well-being. As a vital member of our community health clinic, you will engage with clients dealing with a range of issues, such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and disordered eating.

Our community health clinic emphasizes a client-centered approach, and as a remote counselor, you will utilize digital platforms for therapy sessions, document client progress via our electronic health record (EHR) systems, and maintain clear communication with your colleagues.

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health status during initial consultations to identify their unique needs and challenges.
• Design personalized treatment plans that encompass therapeutic modalities suitable for individual clients, ensuring evidence-based practices are employed.
• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, both individually and in small groups, providing support, guidance, and actionable tools clients can utilize in their daily lives.
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans as needed, maintaining ongoing evaluations of clients' progress and adapting interventions to better serve their evolving needs.
• Collaborate with external healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists or social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients who may require additional support.

The Comfort of Home Counseling Center serves a diverse client population, including individuals grappling with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, relationship issues, and substance abuse challenges. • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Must possess a current, valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
• A minimum of four years of related clinical experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of a wide range of mental health disorders, therapeutic techniques, and cultural competency in treatment processes.
• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to quickly build trust and rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and related software applications for documentation and client management.
• A commitment to ethical practice, boundaries, confidentiality, and ongoing professional development.

• Experience delivering both individual and group therapy that acknowledges and integrates cultural differences.
• Previous work in a community health setting or similar environment that reinforces a commitment to holistic mental health care.
• Experience in implementing evidence-based therapeutic models.

The salary range for this role is between USD 70,000 and 100,000 annually, depending on experience and certifications.
