Work Environment

This role offers a 100% remote work setting, allowing you to manage your schedule within a Monday to Friday timeframe, specifically from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct evidence-based therapy sessions via secure live video, focusing on each client's unique needs and treatment goals.
• Implement and utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) integrated assessment tools to develop precise treatment plans that enhance the therapeutic process.
• Collaborate with peers through regular case consultations and engage in ongoing training opportunities to refine therapeutic techniques.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions and progress in compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
• Stay current with developments in mental health practices, particularly CBT and other structured approaches, to ensure the delivery of the best possible care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor at Guiding Light Therapy, you will work with a diverse client population dealing with a variety of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clients come from different backgrounds, and you will have the opportunity to provide culturally competent therapy that acknowledges and respects individual differences.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Must hold an active license in Florida as a LMFT, LCMHC, or LCSW.
• At least 2 years of experience in a mental health counseling role, with a minimum of 1 year in independent practice.
• Strong proficiency in CBT and familiarity with other therapeutic modalities.
• Ability to effectively communicate and connect with clients from diverse backgrounds and those facing various mental health conditions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a community health clinic or a similar setting is preferred.
• History of utilizing technology and digital resources to enhance therapy efficacy.
• Engagement in peer support or mentoring programs within the mental health field.

Compensation and Benefits
