Desirable Skills (Nice to Have)

  • AI experience.
  • Risk and compliance experience.
  • Database management and data migration experience, including work with specific database technologies like Oracle, RDS, and DynamoDB.
  • Cloud platform experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Interview Process

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Technical Direction & Architecture: Lead and give technical direction to fellow engineers while authoring extensive architecture and design documents utilizing distributed system design, algorithms, logging frameworks, scaling, and microservices principles.
  • Backend Code Development: Write high-quality, testable, expert-level Java code within a backend-focused full-cycle engineering framework, maintaining a clear understanding of the complete SDLC.
  • Cloud & Payments Application Engineering: Design, build, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications inside public cloud infrastructures, specifically optimizing core backend infrastructure for the payments industry.
  • Database & Migration Management: Administer and integrate applications with enterprise database technologies, supporting backend data migration initiatives and utilizing expert-level communication protocols.
