This role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance while ensuring a structured 40-hour week from Monday to Friday. • As an Independent Contractor, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of senior clients' needs, establishing individualized treatment plans, and evaluating their progress.
• You will provide insightful counseling and psychotherapy sessions, utilizing therapeutic modalities tailored to the unique circumstances of each adult or senior client.
• Your role includes actively researching and referring clients to additional resources and support networks as needed, ensuring comprehensive care throughout their recovery journey.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within and outside our organization to implement best practices for mental health treatment in detox settings.
• Maintain meticulous records of client interactions and treatment plans, using our designated electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure compliance and support coordinated care.

Your primary focus will be on adult and senior clients, many of whom are experiencing substance use disorders, mental health issues, or seeking support during their recovery from detoxification. Understanding the specific challenges faced by these populations is crucial as you tailor your therapeutic approach to cater to their unique experiences, promoting their mental wellness and resilience.

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in standard office software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• A commitment to providing compassionate and evidence-based care to diverse populations.

• Previous experience working with geriatric populations is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in high-pressure environments, such as detox centers or crisis intervention settings, is an advantage.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital record-keeping systems enhances your effectiveness in this role.
