About the Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated Compensation Analyst, Revenue Operations (also known as "Commissions Analyst") to play a key role as part of the SSC Sales Compensation team. This position will be primarily responsible for tactical administration of commissions. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication and collaborative skills are also required to interface in a cross functional teaming environment with various levels of management. This is an excellent opportunity for a sharp, eager professional who is passionate about working in a dynamic environment with one of the fastest growing pre-IPO companies.
  • Administer the day-to-day operations of commissions including the commissions expense accrual file
  • Responsible for the administration of compensation plans including timely electronic distribution of plans and tracking acceptance, individual plan set-up in the system process adjustments, and data validation.
  • Administer variable compensation payments including draws, commission bonuses, SPIFF payouts and other custom compensation plan terms
  • Execution and maintenance of all compensation plans to ensure calculations and payments are accurate, complete, and in compliance with company policy or practice.
  • Configure and participate in testing of commission systems to ensure commissions calculate correctly for the changes in Global Sales Incentive Plan and compensation structure
  • Work closely with Human Resource and Sales Operations to track changes in sales employee data for new hires, terminations, transfers, compensation, and retroactive changes
  • Assisting with ad hoc commission data gathering, reporting, analysis and other projects as needed

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • 5+ years of experience in sales compensation administration
  • Understanding of sales commissions process and related administrative experience
  • Microsoft office skills (emphasis on advanced Excel skills)
  • Experience calculating commissions manually in Excel
  • Experience with CaptivateIQ or similar cloud-based sales commissions and incentive compensation tool
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, ICM or similar project management/collaboration tool,
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, collaborative, and people skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to identify problems and provide solutions.
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Experience with Spiff and Docusign a plus.

The estimated total compensation range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000 (base plus bonus). Actual compensation for the position is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to affordability, skills, qualifications and experience, and may vary from the range. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible for annual performance-based incentive compensation awards and equity, among other company benefits.
