How You'll Contribute

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend microservices and web applications using Python and React.
  • Build and maintain SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) for efficient, secure data storage and retrieval.
  • Develop and consume RESTful APIs and work with JSON, XML, and CSV for interoperability with EHRs, registries, and billing systems.
  • Implement cloud-native solutions on Azure, including containerized services and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes to ensure efficient deployments and reliable operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (clinical, product, engineering) to translate business and RCM requirements into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across the full stack.
  • Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code following industry best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, healthcare data standards, and regulatory requirements.

About YOU!

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack development.
  • Proven healthcare domain experience (i.e. EHR systems, claims processing, clinical registries, HIPPA compliance).
  • Backend: Python (Django, FastAPI, Flask), microservices development, RESTful API design, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • Frontend: React, HTML5, CSS3, Typescript, JavaScript.
  • Database: SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Strong experience with Azure.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred

  • Hands-on experience with healthcare claims processing, including 837 (institutional/professional) claim formats and 835 remittance files, with an understanding of payer workflows, claim adjudication, and revenue cycle processes.
  • Strong knowledge of RCM (Revenue Cycle Management), including charge capture, coding concepts, denials, and reimbursement workflows.
  • Prior experience with early-stage companies or developing 0?1 products.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this level is $125,000 to $145,000 annualized and other competitive benefits.
