Position Overview

The Micro Precision Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in a rewarding full-time remote position. As an LMFT, you will play a vital role in enhancing the mental health and well-being of individuals and families, providing essential therapy services to those navigating complex life challenges. This position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, assess client diagnoses, and expertly create and implement individualized treatment plans in line with best practices.
  • Maintain a full-time caseload of 25-30 client visits per week while ensuring thorough and accurate documentation, including diagnostic assessments, ongoing treatment plan reviews, and detailed case notes.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by actively listening to clients’ needs and collaborating with our dynamic team to ensure that we meet the mental health needs of our community effectively.
  • Utilize innovative and creative therapeutic interventions to help clients overcome challenges and achieve their therapeutic goals, creating personalized therapeutic experiences.
  • Coordinate care effectively by collaborating with case managers, families, schools, and medical personnel to ensure a holistic approach to client treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse client base, including individuals, children, adolescents, couples, and families. You will support clients grappling with various mental health issues, from relationship conflicts to depression and anxiety, especially focusing on assisting them in overcoming addiction and other life-altering challenges.

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
  • Strong understanding of family therapy principles, community resources, and the mental health field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to convey important information to clients and the broader care team effectively.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain healthy, professional boundaries with clients.
  • Comfortable working with a diverse population and sensitive to cultural differences.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience with various therapy modalities and documentation processes, including completing diagnosis assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes.
  • Experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, couples, and families is highly desired.
  • Familiarity with fee collection processes and insurance claims is a plus.
