Job description

Software Engineer

We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Software Engineer to join our Remote Browser Isolation team. As part of this team, you will develop features and systems related to the cloud hosted RBI infrastructure and backend services. In addition, you may also work on features for improving the observability, security and scalability of the cloud hosted components

Responsibilities:

  • Developing cloud-based applications/micro-services hosted in Kubernetes clusters.
  • Developing customer Kubernetes resources and controllers for these resources
  • Managing all aspects of the end-to-end development and deployment lifecyle, including:
    • Writing high quality unit-tests
    • Creating deployment manifests and helm charts
    • Adding monitoring support for metrics, logging, tracing and alerting.
  • Designing and implementing scalability and fault tolerance aspects.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of software development experience in Go.
  • 2+ years of experience with developing, deploying and operating services in a Kubernetes environment
  • Experience implementing Kubernetes custom resources and controllers
  • Experience with monitoring stacks such as ELK, prometheus/grafana, etc.
  • Experience implementing web application backends in Go with best practices related to authentication, authorization, logging, tracing, etc.
  • Experience with identity and authentication concepts including SAML and OIDC are a plus
  • Strong analytical, good communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and perform well as part of a team

Location: United States, with a preference for Santa Clara, CA *Applicants must be authorized to work in the US The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York City is expected in the range of $160,000 to $260,000. A candidate's specific pay within this range will depend on a variety of factors, including job-related skills, training, location, experience, relevant education, certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
