Position Overview

Aalis Management Consulting is seeking a Cost Estimating & Price Analysis SME to support a federal agency. This role provides day-to-day support for cost estimating, price analysis, and acquisition support across a wide range of federal procurement actions, including micro-purchases, simplified acquisitions, large contracts, BPAs, task orders, and interagency agreements.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and support Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs) and cost evaluation plans
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing cost proposal instructions for RFQs and RFPs
  • Review and analyze cost proposals, bids, and quotations for realism and reasonableness
  • Provide cost and price analysis support throughout the contract lifecycle
  • Support contract modifications, terminations, and option pricing validation
  • Maintain cost data and produce price analysis documentation (~120 actions annually)
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and consistency

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Acquisition, or related field
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Acquisition Management Support
  • Experience in federal cost estimating and price analysis
  • Strong knowledge of FAR and federal acquisition processes
  • Experience developing IGCEs and evaluating proposals

Preferred Qualifications
  • FAC-C or DAWIA Level III certification (or equivalent)
  • NCMA certifications (CFCM, CCCM, etc.)
  • Experience supporting high-volume federal acquisition environments
  • Familiarity with multiple contract types and lifecycle support
