• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, duration, and impact of their mood disorders and interpersonal issues.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific goals and needs of each client, incorporating evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Monitor client progress through regular check-ins and adjustments to treatment plans as necessary, ensuring that therapeutic goals align with evolving client needs.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, offering resources and strategies for effective self-care and coping mechanisms.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for clients.
• Stay current with the latest research on mood disorders and therapeutic techniques to continually enhance treatment effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate documentation consistent with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
• Engage in professional development and training opportunities to refine your skills and stay updated on emerging treatment methodologies.
• Participate actively in advocacy efforts to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health issues while supporting clients in meeting their unique needs.

The focus of our practice is primarily on clients facing relationship issues, life transitions, and mental health concerns such as anxiety and depression. Your expertise in marriage and family therapy will allow you to serve individuals, couples, and families navigating complex dynamics, especially those related to divorce or other critical relational challenges.

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build a rapport with clients and foster a supportive therapeutic environment.
• A strong sense of empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude, allowing you to meet clients where they are in their mental health journey.
• Robust organizational abilities and time-management skills essential for handling a caseload effectively and efficiently.

While we value strong foundational experience, we also encourage applicants with specialized training in therapies relevant to our client population such as structural family therapy, strategic therapy, and narrative therapy to apply. Additionally, familiarity with integrated care models will be considered a significant asset.
