• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to understand clients’ mental health challenges, establishing effective treatment plans tailored to their individual needs.
• Deliver individualized therapy sessions using diverse therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and family systems therapy.
• Work collaboratively with clients to set and achieve therapeutic goals, regularly reviewing progress and adjusting plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Document all client interactions meticulously to comply with ethical standards and maintain accurate records of treatment interventions and progress.
• Engage in continuous professional development through training and mentorship opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay informed about current best practices in therapy.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Genesis Behavioral Health, you will work with a diverse population, including individuals, couples, and families struggling with a variety of issues such as relationship conflicts, grief and loss, anxiety disorders, and trauma recovery. • Must hold an active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
• Demonstrated ability to establish a rapport with clients, utilizing strong communication and interpersonal skills to promote therapeutic engagement.
• Possess empathy, compassion, and an open, nonjudgmental attitude that encourages clients to share their challenges and experiences.

• Previous experience in outpatient mental health services, particularly in teletherapy, is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and modalities.
• Experience working with clients dealing with addiction issues or co-occurring disorders is a plus.
