Based in Colorado, incumbent will travel throughout the western United States to support customers in CO, UT, TX, OK, WA, OR, and AZ.

Incumbent will provide regular hands on, onsite service and support to steel mill customers. Support and service include routine as well as urgent visits to customer sites to ensure that Heraeus Electro Nite equipment and products are in working order and no interruption to the customer's production schedule occur due to instrument/sensor related issues. Incumbent will also ensure inventory levels are adequate for planned usage. 

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide service and support to customers.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and conduct trials.
  • Evaluate, track and record inventory levels at customer sites.
  • Build poles and conduct preventative maintenance on all HEN equipment in the field.  

 

What is Required for this Role:

  • Must reside in Colorado. Relocation assistance is not available.
  • Certification or associate degree in electronics, electrical, industrial maintenance, instrumentation, or related industrial field highly desired.  Equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
  • Previous experience in steel mills, iron foundry or other molten metals processing facilities desired, alternatively, experience in heavy industrial environment ok.
  • Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge along with pneumatics experience a must.
  • Willingness to travel domestically 75% (primarily by flying and occasionally by driving).
  • Willingness to work in a hot and cold industrial environment & adhere to strict safety policies, wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and have the ability to occasionally lift and or move up to 50lbs.
  • Willingness to respond, on occasion, to customer emergencies during off hours or weekends.
  • Ability to follow directions and is ok with repetition/repetitious work.
  • Valid driver's license for duration of employment is a must.
