Job Description

Our client is looking for a Data Architect to lead the evolution of a next generation integrated care platform supporting multiple partners, customers, programs, and clinical conditions through a single configurable interface. 
This role is responsible for designing and governing enterprise data architecture across clinical, operational, financial, and analytical systems while developing scalable data platforms, integration strategies, and data governance practices. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Clinical Operations, Analytics, and business stakeholders, the Data Architect will deliver secure, reliable, and high performing data solutions that support organizational growth and innovation. Responsibilities include:

  • Design and implement enterprise data architecture for an integrated care platform.
  • Architect scalable enterprise data platforms for clinical, operational, reporting, and analytics needs.
  • Leverage AI technologies to improve system design, development, and operational efficiency.
  • Design and maintain enterprise data models and integration solutions across Microsoft Dynamics, EHR/EMR, claims, and third party systems.
  • Develop and oversee ETL/ELT processes for reliable data ingestion, transformation, validation, and distribution.
  • Establish data governance, data quality, metadata management, and master data management standards.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to build modern cloud based data solutions using Azure, including data lake and data warehouse architectures.
  • Ensure data solutions comply with HIPAA, HITRUST, privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into scalable data solutions.
Qualifications
  • 8-10+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise data platforms and architectures with Python, Azure platforms, and SQL.
  • Must have healthcare data management experience.
  • Extensive Azure Data Platform tech experience, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Power Platform, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Databricks.
  • Strong experience designing data warehouses, data lakes, lakehouse architectures, and enterprise reporting platforms.
  • Proven experience creating and utilizing HTTP web service APIs, webhooks, and GraphQL.
  • Deep understanding of data modeling methodologies, including dimensional modeling, normalized designs, and modern analytical data structures.
  • Experience with business intelligence platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric.  
  • Experience with healthcare data standards and operational healthcare datasets is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality management, metadata management, and master data management principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
