Location: Austin, TX 78751 (Hybrid, On Site & Remote)
Pay Rate: $93.33 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Duration: September 1, 2026 through August 31, 2027

Our client is seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect III to lead the design, implementation, and support of enterprise cloud platforms in a highly regulated, multi cloud environment. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting edge cloud technologies, AI platforms, and enterprise data solutions while helping modernize critical government systems.

This role is ideal for a senior cloud professional with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), enterprise AI technologies, cloud infrastructure, data platforms, and cloud operations.

What You'll Do

As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will:

  • Design, implement, and support enterprise cloud architecture across Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Lead cloud infrastructure initiatives supporting mission critical applications and data platforms.
  • Architect secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions.
  • Support enterprise AI platforms including Vertex AI and Gemini.
  • Develop monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, GCP Cloud Monitoring, and Logstash.
  • Design operational alerting solutions utilizing Twilio for proactive notifications.
  • Support enterprise data platforms, data lakes, and analytics environments.
  • Administer cloud storage solutions including Blob Storage and Data Lake technologies.
  • Support Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), Secure Agents, APIs, and cloud integrations.
  • Troubleshoot Tier 2 and Tier 3 production issues while maintaining platform stability and reliability.
  • Implement cloud security best practices including Identity and Access Management (IAM), least privilege access, audit logging, and compliance controls.
  • Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, security, and business teams to deliver cloud initiatives.
  • Participate in architecture planning, cloud governance, automation, and continuous platform improvement.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must have 8+ years of experience with:

  • Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Enterprise cloud architecture and administration
  • Vertex AI, Gemini, or enterprise AI platforms
  • Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, and GCP Cloud Monitoring
  • Logstash and enterprise logging frameworks
  • Blob Storage, Data Lakes, and enterprise storage platforms
  • Enterprise data pipelines and analytics platforms
  • Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS)
  • APIs and cloud integration patterns
  • Identity and Access Management (IAM)
  • Network security, audit logging, and regulated cloud environments
  • Supporting production cloud platforms and resolving Tier 2/Tier 3 issues

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with any of the following is highly desirable:

  • Tableau Cloud
  • ArcGIS or geospatial data platforms
  • Python or Bash scripting
  • CI/CD automation
  • Kubernetes (AKS or GKE)
  • Docker and containerized applications
  • Microservices architecture
