Job description

Summary: The Merchandiser Installer is a full-time, travel-based role supporting retail fixture installations, store remodels, and merchandising execution at customer locations nationwide. This position works as part of a team under the direction of a Site Lead or Lead Specialist to execute planograms, build and modify fixtures, reset departments, and ensure projects are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule. Assignments may require extended overnight travel for weeks or months at a time, including weekend and non-standard hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute retail planograms and merchandising standards
  • Build, move, modify, and remove retail fixtures and shelving
  • Perform gondola moves, resets, and department remodel work
  • Read and follow store fixture maps, layouts and scope documents
  • Use basic hand tools safely and effectively
  • Maintain job site cleanliness and organization
  • Follow all company, customer, and safety standards
  • Complete required reporting and photo documentation
  • Communicate effectively with team members, leads and project managers
  • Travel to assigned retail accounts nationwide
  • And any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our organization’s values.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Basic knowledge of merchandising techniques
  • Beginning to intermediate understanding of retail fixtures and installation methods

Qualifications:

  • No experience is required but retail merchandising, fixture installation or remodel experience is a plus.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. regularly
  • Ability to perform physical labor including bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
  • Reliable transportation
  • Smartphone capable of email and app usage
  • Willingness to travel extensively and remain on assignment for extended periods
  • Forklift and scissor lift certification is preferred (or ability to obtain if required).
