As a member of the Brand Marketing Team, the Associate Brand Manager is responsible for the execution of business strategies for assigned core product lines. The Associate Brand Manager will work with the Brand Marketing Team to build the brand and to achieve annual operating plan profit and volume.

What You Do.  

  • Strategy and Financial Planning:
    • Assist with the development and execution of annual product line strategies and plans.
    • Understand financial reporting, product line P&L and key financial measures to improve product line profitability.
    • Manages product line budget with high degree of accuracy.
    • Understands and contributes to the monthly Demand Planning process.
  • Business Analysis and Synthesis:
    • Analyze data and market trends to provide insights and concise recommendations to leadership through formal and informal updates.
    • Provide ad hoc and regular reporting to help inform the organization of product line performance and challenges.
  • Target Consumer and Brand Positioning:
    • Understand target consumer and product line benefit ladder to ensure marketing plans and messaging is relevant.
    • Track consumer panel metrics and consumer trends and uses insights to influence decision making.
  • Marketing Communications:
    • Work with our Integrated Marketing Communications team to develop promotional strategies.
    • Work with Creative Service team to manage packaging changes, new item graphics and testing.
    • Proactively manage product line marketing budget and recommend resource allocation, when necessary.
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Lead key Cross Functional projects with the assistance of project management to achieve business unit strategies and objectives
    • Assist cross functional partners with the development of project business cases
    • Monitor quality complaints from consumer services and customers and work with R&D and manufacturing on corrective action. 
    • Minimal travel required

Your Education and Experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree required  
  • 0-1 years brand marketing experience & minimum Masters Degree
  • 1-3 years brand marketing experience & minimum Bachelors Degree
  • CPG experience is required
  • Nielsen & Circana experience is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
