Partner Sales Executive - Intelligence Center X (ADT)

Mendix

Boston, MA • Remote

Full-time

Posted 14 days ago

Job description

Intelligence Center X is Siemens' platform for the agentic enterprise

The next wave of enterprise software isn't about writing more code — it's about giving organizations the tools to combine trusted data, AI, and applications into systems that can reason and act on their own. Intelligence Center X delivers that today, through five capabilities — an Enterprise Knowledge Graph, AI/ML, agentic application development, orchestration, and governance — that together move enterprises from static software to intelligent, autonomous systems. For the customers we serve, that shift shows up in very concrete ways: engineers and data leaders who can finally find and trust the data buried across decades of enterprise systems; teams that go from idea to working application in days instead of quarters; and AI initiatives that move out of pilot purgatory and into production because the underlying data and governance can actually support them. Whether you're building this platform, proving its value to customers, or bringing it to market through our partner ecosystem, your work directly drives those outcomes for some of the most complex organizations in the world. This is one of the most ambitious enterprise AI platforms in the market — built on decades of deep domain expertise across industries as varied as manufacturing, banking, insurance, financial services, and healthcare, and already running in production at real scale for organizations with some of the most demanding data and compliance requirements in the world. If you want to work at the intersection of enterprise AI, knowledge graphs, and agentic applications — with real customers and real production stakes, across nearly every major industry — this is where that work is happening.

Partner Sales Executive (PSE) – Intelligence Center X Aerospace, Defense, Automotive, Transportation & Heavy Equipment

Division: Siemens Digital Industries Software – Americas Location: North America (Remote / Field)

About Intelligence Center X Intelligence Center X (ICX) is Siemens’ premier industrial AI orchestration platform. By unifying Mendix (low-code), RapidMiner AI Studio (ML/Predictive Modeling), and RapidMiner Graph Studio (Knowledge Graphs), ICX enables the world’s most complex organizations to transition to an Agentic Enterprise.

In the A&D, A&T and Heavy Equipment sectors, ICX provides the governed foundation for AI agents to operate across the entire product lifecycle—from long-term defense program certification to the management of high-volume automotive fleets and heavy equipment rolling stock.

The Opportunity We are seeking a high-caliber Partner Sales Executive to lead our channel sales efforts unit within the Aerospace, Defense, Automotive, Transportation, and Heavy Equipment verticals. This is a role for a Strategic Architect who can navigate the friction of a complex ecosystem to drive enterprise-wide transformation.

This role owns the Enterprise Channel segment across North America, focused on high-growth organizations—typically less than $5B in revenue—that require the agility of the ICX platform to compete with industry titans, partner with them, or meet the demanding standards of the major OEMs, customers, and ecosystem leaders they serve.

You will be responsible for a high-stakes territory where many customers are already Siemens users (PLM, CAD, Simulation, MES), but have yet to realize the power of Industrial AI. Your mission is to bridge that gap—sometimes by up-leveling traditional engineering partners, and other times by boldly forging new paths with specialized Digital Transformation partners to reach the CIO, CDO, and COO.

Key Responsibilities

Orchestrate Complex Ecosystems

  • Navigate the Room: Manage the delicate balance between established PLM/Engineering partners, specialized ICX partners, and internal Siemens account teams. You must have the political acumen to build consensus where possible and the boldness to forge ahead when a deal requires a new direction or a different partner profile.
  • Strategic Partnering: Identify when to enable a traditional partner to "stretch" into AI/Data and when to introduce a specialized Digital Transformation partner to lead a high-complexity ICX pursuit.
  • Partner Enablement: Teach partners how to move beyond transactional feature-selling to positioning the Agentic Enterprise and Industrial AI Orchestration at the executive level.

Drive Industry-Specific Transformation

  • Speak the Language: Engage deeply with industry leaders on topics like Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Digital Twins, Regulatory Compliance (ITAR/EAR), and Lifecycle Context for long-term defense programs and heavy-duty fleets.
  • Position the Agentic Enterprise: Move the conversation from simple automation to governed AI agents that can manage complex engineering and operational workflows.
  • Value Engineering: Use MEDDPICC and Challenger methodologies to quantify the impact of ICX on mission-critical outcomes, such as reducing production issue resolution time, optimizing aftermarket service, or ensuring long-term program sustainability.

Execute & Close

  • Lead from the Front: Act as the "closer" and strategic lead on high-visibility deals, ensuring partners stay out front while you provide the tactical support and commercial negotiation expertise needed to win.
  • Own the Forecast: Deliver consistent, predictable revenue growth (ACV/ARR) across your industry verticals, maintaining a disciplined pipeline and high win rates.
  • Segment Ownership: Drive growth within the Enterprise Channel segment, targeting high-complexity organizations outside of the Siemens Global Accounts program. Lead the strategy for accounts where partner reach and Siemens’ ICX technology create a distinct competitive advantage.
  • Drive Post-Sale Alignment: Ensure customer, partner, and Siemens teams remain aligned through adoption and expansion so the customer realizes maximum value from the platform after the sale.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • Industry Fluency: 7+ years of experience selling into Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, Transportation, or Heavy Equipment. You must be intimately familiar with the "Digital Thread" and the specific operational challenges of these industries (e.g., certification cycles, fleet management, rolling stock).
  • Commercial Excellence: A proven track record of exceeding quotas in complex software sales (AI/ML, Low-Code, or Enterprise SaaS), with the discipline to execute and close deals in a way that creates the foundation for successful adoption, renewal, and expansion. You are a master of MEDDPICC and the Challenger Sale, and you understand that winning the deal is only the beginning: the sales process must align the customer, partner, and Siemens teams around value realization, operating rhythm, ownership, and the mindset required for the customer to recognize maximum value from the platform over time.
  • Strategic Boldness: Demonstrated ability to navigate "politically challenging" sales environments involving multiple internal and external stakeholders. You know how to build a coalition, but you aren't afraid to challenge the status quo, remove friction, and align stakeholders when needed to ensure the customer’s desired outcomes are achieved.
  • Ecosystem Expertise: Experience working with (or for) Value-Added Resellers (VARs) and Global Systems Integrators (GSIs).

Preferred

  • Direct experience with the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio (Teamcenter, NX, Opcenter), complementary or competitive platforms (Salesforce, ServiceNow, Snowflake, or Appian).
  • Familiarity with Industrial AI, Knowledge Graphs, or Agentic AI frameworks.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to pivot from technical discovery to commercial negotiation with a CIO, CDO, or COO.

Why Join the ICX Team?

  • The Portfolio of the Future: You are selling the most advanced Industrial AI orchestration platform on the market.
  • High-Impact Territory: Work with the world’s leading manufacturers to solve their most complex, mission-critical problems.
  • Autonomy & Influence: You have the mandate to shape your territory and the ecosystem as you see fit to accomplish the goal.
