At Tether, we're building Hadron, the enterprise tokenization platform powering the next generation of tokenized assets, stablecoins, securities, funds, commodities, and real-world assets (RWAs).
Hadron enables financial institutions, asset managers, exchanges, governments, and enterprises to issue, manage, and operate regulated digital assets across multiple blockchain networks while integrating compliance, permissions, and operational workflows.
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build the core infrastructure behind Hadron. You will work on tokenization engines, blockchain integrations, permissions frameworks, issuance workflows, compliance tooling, and enterprise APIs used by institutional clients worldwide.
This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys solving complex distributed systems challenges at the intersection of blockchain, financial infrastructure, and enterprise software.
Responsibilities
Tokenization Platform Development
  • Design, build, and maintain the backend services powering Hadron's tokenization platform
  • Develop APIs supporting asset issuance, lifecycle management, corporate actions, and token operations
  • Build scalable infrastructure for institutional-grade tokenization workflows
  • Contribute to the evolution of Hadron's architecture and core platform capabilities

Blockchain Infrastructure
  • Build integrations with Ethereum, EVM-compatible chains, and other supported blockchain networks
  • Develop services handling token minting, burning, transfers, permissions, and administrative operations
  • Improve blockchain transaction orchestration, signing workflows, and operational reliability
  • Contribute to smart contract integrations and blockchain infrastructure

Enterprise Infrastructure
  • Build systems supporting role-based permissions, multi-signature approvals, auditability, and operational controls
  • Develop integrations with custody providers, identity providers, and compliance services
  • Improve scalability, observability, monitoring, and platform reliability
  • Support deployment automation and operational tooling

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Solutions teams
  • Translate institutional client requirements into scalable platform capabilities

Core Skills
  • 5+ years of backend software engineering experience
  • Strong expertise in Node.js (primary technology stack)

  • Strong debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills
