Job description

Job Summary Gatewood Clinic and Med-Spa, LLC is seeking a licensed Medical Doctor (MD/DO) to serve as a Part-Time Medical Director / Supervising Physician. This role provides clinical oversight and supervision for Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Registered Nurses in accordance with Georgia Composite Medical Board regulations. The position primarily involves consultation, chart review, and protocol supervision with minimal direct patient care.

Responsibilities

Provide physician supervision for NPs and PAs per Georgia regulations

Establish and maintain supervision and protocol agreements

Be available for clinical consultation when needed

Conduct periodic chart reviews for quality and compliance

Provide medical oversight for clinic, wellness, and med-spa services

Support clinical providers performing VA disability assessments

Qualifications

Active MD or DO license in Georgia

Board certification preferred (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related specialty)

Experience supervising NPs or PAs preferred

Knowledge of Georgia Composite Medical Board supervision requirements

Schedule Flexible part-time hours. Remote oversight with occasional availability for consultation.
