As a licensed professional counselor, you will enjoy a structured work week running from Monday to Friday, with hours typical from 9 AM to 5 PM. • Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to diagnose clients' conditions and develop individualized treatment plans based on their unique needs.
• Engage in regular session documentation, including treatment plan reviews and ongoing case notes, adhering to company policy and state regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients, ensuring they feel heard and validated throughout the therapeutic process.
• Utilize innovative and creative interventions tailored to the diverse needs of clients, empowering them to achieve their therapeutic goals.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including case managers, families, medical personnel, and educators to coordinate holistic care.

The patient demographics at Metro Psychotherapy are diverse, encompassing a spectrum of ages, backgrounds, and mental health concerns. • A master’s degree in behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid clinical licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oregon is essential.
• Proficient communication skills—both written and verbal—are necessary to foster trust and rapport with clients.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain professional boundaries while establishing a therapeutic alliance with clients.
• Strong organizational skills conducive to timely completion and submission of clinical documentation.
• Experience and comfort in working with clients from diverse backgrounds and varying life experiences.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health counseling role is preferred, showcasing your depth of knowledge and practical application of therapeutic techniques.
• Experience working with electronic health record (EHR) systems can prove advantageous in managing patient documentation efficiently.
