Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will engage in a variety of therapeutic tasks aimed at enhancing the mental health of our clients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting in-depth assessments to identify patients' mental health requirements and constructing personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique situations.
  • Providing short-term individual therapy sessions and crisis intervention for patients grappling with anxieties, depressions, and other mental health disorders.
  • Leading group therapy sessions and workshops focused on issues relevant to patient development, such as stress management techniques and coping strategies.
  • Partnering with hospital departments including psychiatry, nursing staff, and patient support services to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.
  • Participating in community outreach programs and awareness campaigns to promote mental health resources and destigmatize mental health challenges.
  • Maintaining meticulous and confidential records using electronic health record systems to comply with HIPAA regulations.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of prevalent mental health issues among hospital patients and expertise in therapeutic interventions relevant to this context.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a focus on interpersonal relationships and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices and a capacity to utilize brief therapy models effectively.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently while thriving in high-stakes, fast-paced environments.
Preferred Experience

Experience in a hospital setting or outpatient clinic is preferred, particularly with a focus on integrated care models. Familiarity with telehealth tools and methodologies will be considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

Life Care Health Clinic offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
