This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in where you work while focusing on providing essential counseling services to students. Our organization supports a collaborative culture, promoting interaction among professionals through virtual meetings, training sessions, and teamwork. You will have access to a dedicated administrative assistant who will handle administrative tasks, allowing you to concentrate on delivering the best care possible.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of student clients, ensuring their specific circumstances and challenges are understood.
• Develop, implement, and continuously refine individualized treatment plans in consultation with clients, focusing on their unique needs and goals.
• Provide various modalities of therapy, including individual, couples, family, and group sessions, tailored to the dynamics of the school setting.
• Monitor and evaluate client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
• Deliver crisis intervention services, ensuring timely referrals to emergency resources when necessary, to safeguard the mental health of students in distress.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, adhering to state and federal regulations, and ensuring that records are up-to-date and properly secured.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, working closely with teachers, school counselors, and external mental health professionals for comprehensive support.
• Participate actively in ongoing professional development activities and training that enhance your knowledge and skills in mental health care.

This role primarily focuses on children and adolescents in a school context, many of whom may face challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, or trauma. Your work will directly contribute to the emotional and academic success of these students, fostering an environment where they feel safe and supported.

• Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active California LCSW license required to practice as a mental health therapist.
• Minimum of two years’ experience providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and families within educational or community settings.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to empathize and connect with diverse populations.
• Strong organizational skills and the capacity to manage time effectively, ensuring timely follow-ups and documentation.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred for efficient documentation and communication.
• Familiarity with school-based mental health practices and interventions is highly desirable.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
