You will operate primarily in an outpatient office context, where interaction with clients occurs via telehealth platforms and remote consultations. • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop tailored therapeutic strategies for clients, ensuring individual needs are met.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy to facilitate healing and growth.
• Engage with clients through both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes open communication.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance client care, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health treatment.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education workshops to stay current with emerging trends and research in the mental health field.

The primary focus of this role is to provide mental health services to individuals and families who face significant barriers to access care. Our clients may present with a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Possession of an active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of supervised counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting is mandatory.
• Demonstrated understanding of legal, ethical, and confidentiality standards in clinical practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the establishment of rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong teamwork skills and experience collaborating with a healthcare team to deliver comprehensive client care.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related technologies is essential.

• Specialization in family therapy or couples therapy, as well as experience addressing trauma or substance use disorders, will be highly regarded.

• An attractive salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload management.
