• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), compassion-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing to facilitate treatment for clients facing various emotional and behavioral challenges.
• Utilize crisis management skills to ensure client safety and well-being, intervening in acute situations effectively while calming distress.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, primary care providers, educators, and nutritionists, to ensure that clients receive holistic and comprehensive care.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of therapy sessions including progress notes in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Provide therapy services to individuals across a broad spectrum of mental health diagnoses, contributing to individualized care plans that promote recovery.
• Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments to identify clients’ needs and develop tailored treatment plans for effective therapeutic outcomes.
• Commit to a minimum of five client sessions per week, ensuring a consistent and full caseload to foster sustained therapeutic relationships.

The Mental Health Counselor will work with a diverse client population that includes individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health issues. Clients may range from children, adolescents, to adults, each with unique backgrounds and needs. The counselor’s role involves building enduring relationships to provide effective support and guidance through their mental health journey.

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• An active, independent license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) in the state of Oregon.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and coding systems, including ICD-9 and ICD-10, for accurate assessment, diagnosis, and billing purposes.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients and their families.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and team members.

• Experience in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques to handle acute situations and emotional distress effectively.
• Background in providing therapy in either solo practice or group settings is preferred.
• Commitment to continuous professional development, staying updated with current therapeutic methodologies and practices.

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 50,000 to 80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
