This role is fully remote and utilizes a telehealth model to provide services. • Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ histories and develop tailored treatment strategies that align with individual needs.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, promoting resilience, and integrating evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in therapeutic sessions.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to assist clients in processing trauma, acquiring coping strategies, and fostering a supportive community.
• Engage in close collaboration with psychiatrists and other multi-disciplinary team members to ensure holistic and integrated care for every client.
• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients receive timely and effective assistance.
• Educate clients and their families about the effects of trauma, coping mechanisms, and available community resources for sustained support.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record systems efficiently.
• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and continuous professional development focusing on trauma-informed care.
• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in the field of trauma therapy to continuously enhance therapeutic approaches.

Your work will primarily focus on helping clients who are survivors of trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will engage with diverse populations, understanding their unique needs and tailoring therapies to effectively address their mental health challenges. This role allows you to make a substantial impact on the recovery journeys of those who have faced significant adversity.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Possession of current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Georgia.
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to care.
• Proficient knowledge of computer applications and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience providing trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
• Familiarity with delivering treatment modalities such as EMDR and TF-CBT.
• Experience in crisis intervention and support in mental health emergencies.
