Riverside Research is seeking a full-time Validation and Verification (V&V) Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team responsible for evaluating commercial GEOINT (Geospatial Intelligence) products. This role requires scripting skills and experience across all imaging sensor phenomenology. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are essential to ensure the successful integration of commercial analytics into the NGA ecosystem. This work is in support of the Department of War(DoW).

This position can be located in either Fairfax, VA or Beavercreek, OH.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a team to evaluate the accuracy, quality, and usability of commercial GEOINT products.
  • Conduct validation and verification of data from various imaging sensors, including optical, radar, and thermal.
  • Perform detailed analyses to ensure products meet NGA standards and requirements.
  • Develop and execute test plans and scripts to validate product performance and accuracy.
  • Document and report findings, including recommendations for improvements.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Stay updated with advancements in GEOINT technologies and methodologies.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Top Secret clearance with SCI adjudication and polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience with GEOINT products and technologies.
  • Knowledge and experience with various imaging sensor phenomenology.
  • Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
  • Knowledge of AWS services, particularly S3.
  • Experience with Socet GXP, ENVI, and QGIS is recommended.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a small team, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope, even under tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, responsible team player able to work independently with minimal daily direction; effective/efficient written/verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work and interact with technically and organizationally diverse personnel.
