Automation Test Engineer

Location: Baton Rouge, LA-Remote Duration: 6 Months Rate: DOE $48/hr. On w2 US Citizen and Green Card only

Description:

Work with the App-Dev team(s) to collaboratively deliver testing automation solutions to help the development teams achieve their testing goals within the Agile SCRUM sprint cycle. Write and maintain test automation scripts, keywords and components for functional UI testing, as well as verify that all software functions as desired, according to user requirements and established guidelines. Perform ad-hoc manual / exploration testing. Set high standards of excellence following "Clean Code Principles", champion test automation best practices and actively participate in the product design and development process. Document defects and tracking issue resolutions. Work with the team to continually improve adherence to the established automation best practices, framework architecture, standards and principles. Perform Requirement analysis & align with automation test strategy Design automation frameworks Define the automation test plan and automation roadmap Perform Tool Evaluation & Risk assessments Knowledge in Internal IBM tools / external tools Knowledge in Ignite platform and accelerators Define and usage of test automation metrics
