*This is a remote position and can be located anywhere in the U.S*

Introduction:

The Designer will have intermediate knowledge of generating AutoCAD Drawings and Plant 3D Models for installation details, panel layouts, and equipment/instrument wiring schematics for piping and facility projects. The Designer will develop CAD designs from general instruction to a detailed finish product. The Designer will coordinate efforts and work with Drafters to prepare and assemble project deliverables. The Designer should have a full understanding of file structure, piping specifications, industry and client standards related to assigned projects.

Responsibilities:

This role involves gathering field notes, survey data, design inputs, vendor information, and engineering schematics to support the development of complete drawing packages. Responsibilities include setting up drawings with appropriate sheets, title blocks, notes, and details, applying a basic understanding of typical site layouts for meter, regulation, valve, and compression equipment, and adding accurate annotations and dimensions to plot plans, details, and schematics. The position also utilizes 3D modeling software to generate designs for industrial facility projects and produces accurate 2D drawings derived from 3D models.

Required Qualifications:
