Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator with strong SQL and healthcare IT experience to support a wide range of healthcare applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on SQL database administration experience and familiarity with Epic EHR environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot SQL databases in a healthcare environment.
  • Support approximately 200 healthcare applications and related database systems.
  • Collaborate with IT and clinical teams to resolve database and application issues.
  • Ensure database performance, availability, security, and reliability.
  • Participate in projects that may require occasional evening and weekend support.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of SQL Database Administration experience in a healthcare environment required.
  • Strong SQL database administration skills.
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) certification required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Epic EHR experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, with occasional flexible evening and weekend hours based on project requirements.
