About the Role

This role focuses on the strategic leadership and relationship of TD SYNNEX vendors to achieve the best financial performance for assigned product lines. Oversees, identifies and understands vendor needs and strategic objectives. Manages the overall operational aspects of large vendors and is accountable for sales growth and attainment of profit goals.

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for overseeing and forecasting incremental funding proposals at the vendor level as well as meeting/exceeding monthly revenues, net gross margin percentages and gross margin dollars.

  • Utilizes financial data to provide strategic recommendations for enhancing profitability and operational efficiency.

  • Manages vendor relationships at highest level and serves as the main point of contact for vendors, maintaining open lines of communication. Develops, monitors and recommends plans for the vendor, TD SYNNEX business relationship on a tactical and strategic level.

  • Identifies and drives new vendor opportunities with particular emphasis on the development of new services that blend unique vendor resource/capability along with a TD SYNNEX service/capability to create a unique value proposition.

  • Makes recommendations to procurement and supply chain teams to implement effective inventory management strategies.

  • Acts as the primary operational escalation point for vendor lines and proactively identifies and resolves operational challenges or bottlenecks.

  • Acts as subject matter expert (SME) for assigned vendor's technology and programs.

  • Meets and interacts regularly with executives to discuss product trends, performance, profitability and results of product line promotions.

  • Communicates vendor strategies, manages rebate programs, develops programs to support business unit direction, and collaborates with Marketing to drive demand.

  • Negotiates large-scale contracts, managing key vendor relationship at an executive level ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

  • Conducts quarterly vendor business reviews and participates in marketing events.

  • Provides sales support and proactively works with sales teams executives to find new opportunities.

  • Provides highest level of product knowledge, insights, and sales support to help drive successful sales initiatives.

  • Serves as a mentor and trainer to lower level roles or when onboarding new hires.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
