This is a remote position, hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

What your day to day will look like:

You will be reporting into the The Chief Financial Officer.

  • Work with CFO to create pricing strategy for the bid
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to gather data that may impact pricing, with timely and effective communication
  • Develop functional relationships across the organization
  • Investigate activity cost factors and critical success factors to develop accurate and competitive costing frameworks
  • Create Bid pricing framework, customized to specific bid and tied to final bid pricing matrix from customer
  • Create pricing based on existing contracts, scope specifications, bid requirements and internal evaluation metrics
  • Highlight key assumptions and bid methodology for Management Review
  • Conduct review meetings and gain insights from Departmental Stakeholders that may influence pricing model
  • Finalize internal pricing upon completion of review
  • Translate pricing into the RFP Pricing Submission Matrix

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Minimum of five years previous experience in a finance analyst or estimating role
  • Post Secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field is required
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, specifically the ability to create and edit complex formulas
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Comfortable presenting data and pricing to support bid success
  • Strong ability in mathematics to develop pricing analysis and forecasting
  • Possess an understanding of cost & margin analysis
  • Must be able to work under pressure with a sense of urgency
  • Knowledge of general financial accounting and analysis frameworks
