Blue Ridge Associates is seeking a Senior ESOP Administration Consultant to manage complex plan engagements and serve as a technical expert and trusted resource for both clients and teammates.


As a Senior Consultant, you will be primarily responsible for:

  • Administering a caseload of complex ESOP clients
  • Managing all aspects of plan administration including compliance testing (e.g., 409(p)), allocations, distributions, and recordkeeping
  • Preparing and reviewing government filings (e.g., Form 5500)
  • Serving as the main point of contact for client communication
  • Reviewing plan documents and resolving technical questions
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members
  • Participating in special projects or initiatives as needed

 What We're Looking for in a Senior ESOP Administration Consultant

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Experienced in ESOP administration and compliance
  • Technically proficient and detail-oriented
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage a full caseload independently
  • Skilled at building strong client relationships
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required (Accounting, Finance, Math, or Economics preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience working specifically with ESOPs
  • Strong knowledge of ESOP-related compliance testing, including 409(p)
  • Experience in plan review and technical interpretation
  • QPA or QKA certification preferred or in progress
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong skills in Microsoft Word
  • Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work more than 40 hours per week during peak times
  • Must be able to provide and maintain a distraction-free work environment, a professional workspace, and reliable high-speed internet connection.

We are currently open to hiring at both the Senior ESOP Administration Consultant I and Senior ESOP Administration Consultant II levels. As this job posting spans multiple levels, the listed pay range reflects the full scope of potential qualifications. 


The annual base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $145,000. This range represents the anticipated pay for this role across multiple U.S. labor markets and is intended as a general guideline.


Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the role, relevant experience, work location, education and training, key skills, internal equity, external market data, and current business considerations.
