PeopleSoft Developer (100% Remote, EST Hours) – Job ID: 7588Location: 100% Remote (Must work EST time zone hours)
Client Location:
Clemson, SC
Duration:
Up to 12 months, with potential for extension.
Our direct client is seeking a skilled PeopleSoft Developer to join their team for a fully remote opportunity. This role supports critical systems for a dynamic organization and requires expertise in PeopleSoft development and strong analytical skills.

This job is w2 only no sub vendors are allowed.
We can't work on a corp-to-corp basis; we will pay $5.00 an hour for the referral. Must be able to work on a W2 basis. No H1s or F1s are allowed, as we don't sponsor visas.
Key Responsibilities Programming:
  • Serve as an analyst for moderately complex or auxiliary systems.
  • Design, code, test, document, implement, and troubleshoot moderately complex programs, modifications, or applications based on client specifications.
  • Ensure all work is timely, accurate, and compliant with departmental or project standards.

Application Analysis:
  • Lead the analysis of business requirements to design technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with users to gather requirements, coordinate testing, and migrate moderately complex applications to production.
  • Provide customer training for implemented applications.
  • Learn and apply business rules, technical design, and production requirements for complex subsystems under the direction of a lead analyst.
  • Modify, test, and implement programs within subsystems as directed.

Communication:
  • Provide accurate resource estimates and progress updates to managers and clients.

Required Skills (Ranked by Importance):
  • PeopleTools Expertise:
    • Proficient in App Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, Data Mover, and Security Setup.
    • Experience with PeopleSoft Test Framework is a plus.
    • Oracle SQL
  • PeopleSoft Reporting Tools:
    • Skilled in Query and BI Publisher.
  • PeopleSoft HR Experience:
    • Extensive knowledge of HR, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and Employee Self-Service modules.

Preferred Skills:
  • Previous experience working with Clemson University.

Soft Skills:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adaptable, flexible, and self-motivated.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
  • Effective time management and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Required Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, or Business).
  • 5+ years of experience with the PeopleSoft HR suite and PeopleTools suite.
  • Proven background as a PeopleSoft programmer or developer.
