Our collaborative and mission-driven environment supports innovative thinkers who are passionate about transforming math education.
Position Overview
As the Senior Product and Partner Marketing Manager at IM, you will play a key role in shaping how IM's products, services, and partner ecosystem are understood in the market. This strategic marketing role partners closely with Product and Partnerships teams to develop clear positioning, scalable go-to-market strategies, and compelling messaging that helps school districts, educators, and implementation partners navigate IM's offerings with confidence.
You will lead the development of audience-centered messaging frameworks and ecosystem narratives that clarify the relationship between IM's direct offerings, open educational resources, professional learning services, IM Certified partner-delivered solutions, and emerging products. Your work will directly support IM's mission by helping educators and decision-makers better understand and access high-quality mathematics resources and implementation support.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain audience-specific positioning, messaging frameworks, and value propositions for IM's direct offerings, open educational resources, professional learning services, and emerging products.
  • Collaborate with Product and Partnerships teams to build and execute scalable go-to-market strategies and launch plans for new, evolving, and iterative digital and print offerings.
  • Build and maintain messaging guidelines, partner enablement materials, and marketing toolkits that ensure consistent communication across IM and IM Certified partners.
  • Serve as an embedded marketing liaison within Product and Partnerships planning processes, helping align market-facing strategy with broader organizational priorities and timelines.
  • Analyze campaign performance, market feedback, audience behavior, and product usage insights to refine positioning, strengthen messaging, and inform future go-to-market decisions.
Qualifications & Skills
Required
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in product marketing, go-to-market strategy, partner marketing, solutions marketing, integrated marketing, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated success building and executing GTM strategies, positioning frameworks, and launches for multi-tiered portfolios or complex partner ecosystems.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to influence and align stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, including the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling market-facing narratives.
  • Experience using campaign data, audience insights, market signals, and product usage data to refine positioning and marketing strategy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Must reside in and be legally authorized to work in the USA.
Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience within K-12 education, EdTech, curriculum publishing, professional learning, or mission-driven nonprofit organizations.
  • Familiarity with marketing to school district leaders, state agencies, and educational foundations.
  • Experience working in a fully remote environment.
  • Proficiency with cloud-based collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Asana, Notion, Slack, and Zoom.
