Job description

What Your Day Will Look Like:

As a transportation Sr. project manager, you'll lead the delivery community transportation improvement projects from planning, conceptual design through preliminary, and final design phases to construction. You`ll lead a planning team to deliver complex PD&E projects. The transportation PD&E manager reports to the area manager.

What You'll Do:

Lead and manage mid- to large-size transportation projects, overseeing all aspects of project lifecycle Develop and present complex technical solutions to clients, demonstrating innovative problem-solving abilities Prepare scope, schedule, and budgets for PD&E projects Oversee the planning to design for roadway, highway, and traffic engineering projects Assist in business development and proposal effortsย 

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes

Provide excellent leadership, team management, communication and mentoringย 

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Project Management experience in Roadway/Highway projects
  • OpenRoads Design software experience is a plus
  • Registered Professional Engineer in FL or ability to retain PE within 1 year
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in transportation engineering and project management
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex roadway/highway projects
  • Proficiency in transportation design software, including OpenRoads, Microstation, and InRoads
  • Strong knowledge of transportation industry standards, regulations, and best practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
